Foreign Trade
A foreign buyer's tax identifier may contain letters. That is not an error under an export profile.

Tokuva's foreign trade capabilities are embedded in the sales and procurement modules. Exports carry Incoterms, commodity codes, FOB values and declaration data; imports distribute freight, insurance and duty into inventory cost. Tax regime resolves at the intersection of address and company.
Capabilities
Export declarations
Incoterms, commodity codes, FOB values and customs data.
Address-based tax
Domestic addresses carry VAT, foreign addresses zero rate.
Landed cost
Freight, insurance and duty distributed into inventory cost.
Exchange rates
Daily central bank rates, not editable on the document.
Electronic documents
Export profile rules enforced in code.
Rates cannot be edited on the document
When a document uses a currency other than the base one, the rate comes from the daily central bank feed and cannot be overtyped. That closes the door on both manipulation and unexplainable period-end differences.
