Finance and Accounting
No module writes to the ledger directly. Every event produces a posting proposal first; the proposal reaches the journal only after approval.

Tokuva's finance module is a double-entry system built on the Turkish Uniform Chart of Accounts. Sales, procurement, production, payroll and depreciation never post to the journal directly. Each produces a balanced posting proposal that reaches the ledger only after approval, so every entry keeps a traceable source and approver.
Capabilities
Chart of accounts
Turkish statutory, IFRS and consolidation charts maintained in parallel.
Fiscal periods
Twelve periods per year. Soft close is reversible, hard close is not.
Posting proposal engine
Event and control type mapping produces a balanced draft, released by four-eyes approval.
Nine-dimensional costing
Cost centre, project, site, product group and more travel as code parts on every line.
Statutory reports
Journal, general ledger, trial balance, balance sheet and income statement as PDF or Excel.
Multi-currency
Currency per account and per bank; exchange differences post on settlement.
The posting proposal is the only door into the ledger
In a conventional ERP a sales invoice writes its accounting entry directly. When the mapping is wrong, the ledger is wrong, and the fix is a reversing entry.
Tokuva inserts a layer. Issuing a sales invoice produces a posting proposal: debit receivables, credit revenue, credit output VAT. An unbalanced proposal cannot be saved. An accountant reviews it, rejects it if needed, and only an approved proposal reaches the journal.
Three consequences follow:
- Auditability. Every journal line records the document it came from and the person who approved it.
- Reversibility. A wrong mapping lands in a draft, not in the ledger.
- Segregation of duties. The person who creates a proposal is not the person who approves it.
A closed period is actually closed
Once a fiscal period is closed no entry can be booked into it. Soft close is reversible; hard close is not, and the screen says so plainly. Back-dating into a period whose tax return has already been filed is the most common accounting accident in Turkey, and the system is closed to it.
Multi-dimensional costing
Cost is written across nine dimensions at once: company, site, department, cost centre, project, product group, channel, activity and a free dimension. Reports select a dimension rather than requiring a separate posting.
